Please note: We’re offering two workshop sessions—9:00–10:00 AM and 11:00 AM–12:00 PM—so more girls can join the fun! Smaller groups will help us give each participant the attention and support she needs to explore, experiment, and create her own slime. Please choose one session when registering; both offer the same activities.

Please read:

Students will use commercially made, carefully selected face paints intended for use on skin. Even products designed for skin may cause irritation or allergic reactions. Please tell us about any known allergies, sensitive skin, eczema, or previous reactions to cosmetics before the workshop.


Face painting is optional. Students may complete their designs on paper instead. For students choosing skin application, we will avoid the eyes, lips, and broken or irritated skin. Each student will receive a separate portion of paint and individual application tools. If discomfort occurs, painting will stop and the product will be removed according to its instructions. The face paints can be removed with water, and students may wash them off at the end of the workshop if desired.

To help share our educational programs with the community, this workshop will be recorded. Photos, screenshots, or video clips from the session may be posted on our official website, Instagram, or other official social media platforms for educational and promotional purposes. By registering your child, you consent to the recording and potential use of this media. If you do not wish for your child to appear in any published materials, please let us know before the workshop begins. Thank you so much!

What is the cost to participate?

Blooming Girls STEM is committed to accessibility. Our workshops are completely free or scholarship-based, ensuring that every girl aged 8–13 has the opportunity to explore STEM regardless of financial background.

What is the time commitment?

Most workshops run for 1-2 hours on scheduled weekends. We design our programs to be impactful yet manageable for busy school-aged girls and their guardians.

What can I expect from the experience?

You can expect hands-on experiments, collaborative problem-solving, and a chance to meet real-world mentors. It’s a warm, encouraging environment where curiosity is celebrated and no prior STEM experience is required!
